The YAMAHA R9 is the latest supersport bike in the R family, built around the MT-09’s CP3 engine but featuring an entirely new chassis, suspension and ergonomics. It bridges the gap between the R7 and the R1 with a lightweight, powerful package fine-tuned for the track.
890cc, 4-stroke, 3-cylinder CP3 engine, delivering 117.3 cv at 10,000 rpm and 93 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Aluminium Deltabox chassis (new), fully adjustable KYB suspension, Brembo Stylema radial brakes, 6-axis IMU with a full suite of electronics (TCS/SCS/LIF/EBM/BC/QSS).
